A state body, run chapter by chapter
MCAN brings together Muslim corps members serving across Rivers state. The association is self-governed by its own executives, while the state body coordinates shared standards, leadership succession, and support across local government areas — so no member serves far from home without a community.
From your first day at orientation camp to the day you're passed out, MCAN chapters organise weekly halaqas, Jumu'ah arrangements, welfare support, and mentorship — run entirely by fellow corps members and alumni.
Featured chapter initiative
The Rivers State Lodge Project
MCAN Rivers State is raising nationwide support to build a permanent lodge for Muslim corps members serving in the state — secure accommodation, a musallah, and a home away from home.
Hadith of the day
“Actions are but by intentions, and every man shall have only that which he intended.”
Our leadership
The executives running the chapter
A team of corps members and alumni elected to serve MCAN Rivers State, coordinating every chapter across the state.
Our mission
Four pillars, one shared purpose
Every chapter of MCAN — from orientation camps to local government inaugurations — is built on the same foundation.
Dawah
Deepening Islamic knowledge and practice among corps members through study circles, lectures, and outreach in host communities.
Welfare
Supporting members with lodging, feeding, medical assistance, and emergency relief during their service year.
Mentorship
Connecting members with alumni and professionals for guidance on career, deen, and life after service.
Unity
Building brotherhood and sisterhood across local government areas, cultures, and backgrounds under one state body.
Instant Welfare & Emergency Reporting
Encountering issues at your PPA or facing lodge safety concerns? Send a report and it reaches your chapter's Welfare Officer and Amir within minutes — day or night.
